On a proposal from its new President, the Supervisory Board has also appointed the President of the specialised committees, their rapporteurs and members.
The French Law of Economic Modernisation (2008) defines the composition of the Supervisory Board: three members, two senators, three eminent personalities (of whom two are appointed by the President of the National Assembly and one by the President of the Senate), a representative of the Council of State, two representatives of the Court of Auditors, the Governor of the Banque de France and the Director of the French Treasury.
As such, it was a partially updated Supervisory Board that met on 19 July, with three new members:
Gilles Le Gendre, representative of the 2nd Paris district, appointed by the President of the National Assembly;
Jacques Savatier, representative of the 1st Vienne district, appointed by the President of the National Assembly;
Gilles Carrez, representative of Val-de-Marne, appointed by the President of the National Assembly.
