Adoma
A semi-public company in which the State is the majority shareholder, Adoma (formerly Sonacotra) proposes housing and accommodation solutions to target groups facing economic or integration difficulties and cannot find housing in traditional estates. Adoma is part of the SNI group, a subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts.
Agence centrale des organismes de Sécurité sociale (Central agency for social security bodies - 'Acoss')
Acoss is the national financial agency for URSSAFs (Organisations for the payment of social security and family benefit contributions). A public institution, its main vocation is financial: to provide joint management of social security resources and treasury.
Agence nationale de l’habitat (National housing agency - 'Anah')
Anah is a public institution, financed by budgetary and tax resources. Its mission is to promote the development and quality of existing private housing. To this end, the agency encourages and facilitates the carrying out of certain work on homes, through grants, where these homes are used as a main residence. Ahah is a privileged partner of Caisse des Dépôts.
Agence nationale pour la rénovation urbaine National urban renewal agency - 'Anru')
Created in August 2003, Anru's mission, through social mixing and sustainable development objectives, is to contribute to the creation of a national urban renewal programme in all neighbourhoods classed as sensitive urban areas. Caisse des Dépôts and Anru are working together on the urban renewal of these neighbourhoods.
Assigned Amount Unit (AAU)
The countries which ratified the Kyoto Protocol pledged not to exceed a limit for greenhouse gas emissions in 2008-2012. This limit corresponds to an "assigned amount" determined per country as the equivalent in tonnes of CO2: "the assigned amount unit" (AAU).
Association pour le droit à l’initiative économique (Association for the right to economic initiative - 'Adie')
Created in 1989, 'Adie' is an association which helps individuals excluded from the traditional work market and banking system to create their own business and employment thanks to microcredit. The association is supported by Caisse des Dépôts.
