Governance of CSR

STRATEGIC STEERING

Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy relies on a governance routed in the group’s decision processes and is driven at the most senior levels. In the group’s strategy management, the Innovation and Sustainable Development department aims to drive, standardise and direct a cross-disciplinary and participatory approach with all its bodies.

Our approach directly correlates the challenges of sustainable development and innovation. We move forward with the conviction that this convergence is a powerful driver and accelerator, encouraging the blossoming of ideas with strong societal potential and the transmission of innovative models serving the general interest.

We have various initiatives to serve this vision : Lab cdc, an incubator laboratory for innovative projects, as well as internal approaches such as the Summer Innovation University and the Innovation Awards.

NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL COMMITMENTS

Our commitments in terms of governance are realised through our membership to exemplary international initiatives, among which are :

  • The UN Global Compact
  • The United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP)
  • The Diversity in Enterprise Charter from the Institut Montaigne
  • The UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI)
  • The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP)
  • The Declaration on Natural Capital from the UNEP-FI
  • The Global Investor Statement on Climate Change
DIALOGUE WITH THE STAKEHOLDERS

Our CSR approach only makes sense if it responds to the society’s expectations as a whole. This is why we are building our policy on the basis of a close, regular and constructive dialogue with our main stakeholders. The challenge of this dialogue is to create shared value, benefiting society as a whole as well as the Group.

Beyond simply listening to the expectations of our stakeholders, we are favouring a collaborative approach which can lead, on specific projects, to the co-creation of sustainable offers.

We are committed to partnership approaches on a local, national and international level. Our desire to be an open group, in search of innovative and useful solutions on a societal level, leads us to widen the scope of these partnerships. We therefore support think tanks, research and the associative world in our policy areas.
