CNP Assurances, a Caisse des Dépôts subsidiary, has been the leading personal insurer in France since 1991, with 29.2 billion Euros net collected in 2008.

French market leader CNP Assurances has branches in Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Cyprus, Brazil and Argentina. In 2008, international operations represented 14.1% of total funds collected (4.1 billion Euros net) and contributed to 22% of the net operating result.
