The Conseil général of the Bas-Rhin and Caisse des Dépôts signed on 22 June two sustainable infrastructure loans, the one for transportation, the other one for University real estate, for a €25.7mn total amount.
This day also provided an opportunity for a discussion with the CEO of HLM (social housing) institutions that are members of the Board of Directors of the Regional Association of Social Housing Institutions in Alsace (Areal) regarding the issue of thermal renovation and new generation eco-loans, after the delivery of a study on the energy performance of the stock of social housing units in Alsace, set in motion and co-financed by Caisse des Dépôts.
Benjamin Dubertret, Director of Savings funds at Caisse des Dépôts, met with Philippe Bies, Deputy Chairman for Housing at the Urban community of Strasbourg (CUS), Chairman of CUS Habitat and of the real estate Sem Habitation Moderne, as well as representative for the Bas-Rhin Region. The issue of the financing of the development of the social housing offer, particularly very social, and of the thermal renovation of the stock of units were at the heart of the discussions.
