€75mn for the transport infrastructure in Val-de-Marne
Transport infrastructure - 28 March 2012
The Conseil Général of Val-de-Marne and Caisse des Dépôts signed on 21 March a €75mn loan agreement on savings funds for the financing of four projects of public transportation in separate lane (TCSP).
The loan was made from a €7bn total budget from the savings funds set aside for the financing of major transport infrastructure projects for the 2009-2013 period. This is in addition to a €13mn urban project loan and a €23mn local authority loan granted by Caisse des Dépôts to the General Council at the end of 2011.
The four projects financed are:
- Pompadour-Sucy Bonneuil BRT* service, linking the future Pompadour (Thiais) RER station to the RER station in Sucy-Bonneuil;
- BRT service along the RD 5 main road, linking Porte de Choisy to Carrefour Rouget de Lisle (Choisy-le-Roi);
- tramline T7 linking Villejuif to Juvisy, parallel to the RD 7 main road;
- Pompadour intermodal hub: new transport hub connecting line D of the RER rapid transit rail service and the Trans-Val-de-Marne (TVM), RD 186 and Sucy-Bonneuil BRT lines.
