International: they chose Veolia Transdev!

Veolia Transdev won new contracts in England and in Finland, strengthened its position in New Zealand, and was approved by a large majority of travelers in United Kingdom.
North East of England : Purchase of the local and tourist transport activities from York Pullman
These new services supplement the services already operated by Veolia Transdev York at a time when the city considers public transport as a key part of its “Get York Moving” development plan. York Pullman serves, in particular, the university which is in full expansion.
Veolia Transdev already manages the Yorkshire Coastliner service, several bus lines and the Citysightseeing tourist concession.
This new acquisition involves 17 buses, 31 employees and sales of €1.46mn.
Finland : Veolia Transport Finland and BYD create a partnership for the first all electric urban bus
Veolia Transport Finland Oy and BYD Co. Ltd, a supplier of advanced technology for sustainable energy, have announced the creation of a partnership to operate an electric bus within the framework of a global experimental project at Espoo (Helsinki metropolis) over 3 years.
This unprecedented project unites around Veolia Transport Finland Oy the main Finnish public transport and high technology players. The BYD eBUS-12 will be the first all electric urban bus operated in Finland.
New Zealand : Renewal of the Auckland railway agreement
The Auckland railway agreement has been extended until June 2016. Since 2004, Veolia Transport Auckland (VTAK) has shown excellent results, especially in terms of punctuality, increase in use and customer satisfaction.
The new agreement repeats the previous agreements and increases the responsibilities of the operator. During the next four years, significant stages must be reached, which will allow VTAK to meet the challenges and to seize opportunities, notably the ordering and operating of a fleet of 57 electrical motive power units or the establishing of a ticketing system with smart cards integrated.
United Kingdom : Very satisfied passengers
During a survey conducted in the United Kingdom, 21,000 users were asked about the punctuality, quality-price relationship and their overall assessment of the services of their region.
Veolia Transdev Keighley & District obtained the highest level of satisfaction in the United Kingdom with 94% and 88% for punctuality.
The Nottingham bus service, of which Veolia Transdev owns 18%, obtained 79% for punctuality, 68% for the quality-price relationship and 91% for general satisfaction.
