New energy sources - 30 January 2012
The Conseil supérieur de la formation et de la recherche stratégiques (Upper Council for the Strategic Training and Research - CSFRS) and Caisse des Dépôts organize on 15 February a colloquium about Decentralization of the energy: strategy and territories.
The conference aims to raise awareness among private and public sector decision makers of the resilience mechanisms possible in view of recent developments in the field of energy, whatever the sector (solar, wind, biomass, etc.).
The proceedings will be introduced by Alain Bauer, President of the High Council for Strategic Education and Research, CSFRS, and Edward Arkwright, Director of Strategy at Caisse des Dépôts.
Speakers at the first roundtable will present the industrial and technological challenges of renewable energy and their repercussions for regional and local development, particularly in terms of the new networks that renewables will require.
Speakers at the second roundtable will present feedback, from France and other countries, on local energy governance and local authority policies.
The conference will take place on 15 February, starting at 8.15 a.m.
