Franck Taqui, winner of the “Towns and cities” prize

Franck Taqui, winner of the “Towns and cities” prize: Development of use and recycling of waste in Franche-Comté could not be interviewed the day of the prize giving ceremony. A deferred interview is proposed to you.

You are a winner of the Trophees Elan competition, what does this prize represent for you?
Because I have backed this project since its creation in 2007, I feel a great satisfaction and I have the feeling I got my duty accomplished…I am also very happy to show the results we obtain by supporting with advice and equity capital the development of social economy firms.
Globally, this trophy enables to highlight the Caisse des Depots’ role in regions, the work of the regional directions network and the Caisse des Depots abilities to find solutions which meet with territories needs.

What are the most innovative sustainable features of your project?
The sustainable development dimension is at the heart of the Ressourceries’ activities. The name “Ressourceries” could be written with “3R” for Reduce, Recycle, and Reuse. The innovation most probably resides in the development approach the Ressourceries Network wishes. The territories needs are taken into account rather than a hordes approach: it’s about an approach that efficiently mobilizes local actors and local authorities.

What are the next steps of your project?
Our tools used in regions have enabled supporting the growth and structuring a recycling and use field of waste through the Ressourceries development. In Franche-Comté, we are willing to encourage the constitution of a regional association of all Ressourceries in order to benefit from the national network expertise in terms of support and professionalization. The Trophees Elan prize will be useful to carry out these next steps.
