Qualium Investissement is the new name for CDC Capital Investissement, the Caisse des Dépôts subsidiary of competitive investment (capital handing over and/or development). It invests in stockholders' equity, as a majority shareholder, and proposes adapted and innovative solutions to insure the company development.
An asset management company authorized by the AMF, Qualium Investissement manages €1.7bn for third party accounts through venture capital funds, which it invests in promising SMEs. It is totally independent in its investment decisions, with an objective of financial performance in the respect for the Caisse des Dépôts group values.
Qualium Investissement holds 18 majority shares in unquoted French companies, i.e. a €4bn turnover and more than 40 000 jobs. For more than 10 years, the funds managed by Qualium Investissement have been invested in more than 50 companies and in all the main business sectors of the French industry.
