For more than forty years, Société Forestière, drawing on its dual expertise in investment and silviculture, has progressively built a unique range of "natural solutions" around several issues:
- the forest: forest investment, management of large expanses of forest and wood sales, transactions on behalf of institutional and private investors;
- climate: Caisse des Dépôts conferred presidency of the European Carbon Fund (ECF) upon Société Forestière, initiator of the Climate Mission;
- biodiversity: Société Forestière presides over and manages CDC Biodiversité, the leading French operator in biodiversity compensation, dedicated in a wider sense to the restoration, reclaiming and managing of natural environments;
- landscape: Through offering dual expertise: landscape and plant engineering, serving local authorities, developers, housing and infrastructure managers.
