The shortlisted projects will now take part in the first Hack’Archi – open innovation workshops, inspired by hackathons - on 4 and 5 December in the Ecole nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-Belleville. During these two days, each project will be challenged and enriched by a multi-disciplinary team of architecture, engineering school and sociology students.
Five projects will then be selected mid-February 2016 by a multidisciplinary jury and supported in the incubation stage for 8 months.

The call for projects
This call for projects was launched in partnership with the French ministries of ecology, sustainable development and energy, housing, territory equality and rurality and culture and communication. It is fully a part of the work on the national strategy for architecture.
The aim is to experiment with and integrate innovations in the design or renovation of housing, from concrete projects. These projects must respond to the challenges associated with the demographics, sociological and urban changes and show their exemplary nature on an energy and environmental level.
This call for projects has been undertaken in the context of the Lab cdc, the innovative project incubator of the Caisse des Dépôts group.
