Engineering and Infrastructure Project leader

Our Project Managers participate in the development of urban and rail transport projects, in the context of project management, technical expertise and consultancy tasks in France and abroad.

Working alongside project managers, they set up projects in response to invitations to tender: project planning, financial model, risk matrices, contractual models.

They are in charge of managing multidisciplinary projects within the urban transport sector (tramways, underground systems, etc) and within the inter-urban railway sector (traditional or high speed lines).

They manage project management or project management assistance contracts, during the design study / consultation or creation stages for transport systems.

In particular, their tasks cover representing Egis to clients in the carrying through of a contract and steering the execution of a contract with the dual objective of client satisfaction and profitability.

Trained as general engineers, they have experience in the management and development of urban and/or railway transport projects and excellent technical knowledge of the infrastructure and transport systems sector.

As real project managers, they enjoy steering technical design and/or construction teams. They have a good understanding of financial set-ups and of risk analysis for large projects. They have a good command of English and often a second language (German, Spanish, etc.)

Engineering positions within the group

The setting up and management of projects with high technical added value are jobs which can be found in several bodies within the Caisse des Dépôts group: in the real estate sector at the SNI and at Icade, in IT at Informatique CDC, in transport and infrastructure at Egis and Transdev, but also at the Caisse des Dépôts itself in the setting up of projects concerning urban infrastructure, the development of universities, etc..
