Public institution funds

Financing the growth and innovation of your SME or mid-cap

The Novi 1 and 2 investment funds finance the growth and innovation investment of companies with a turnover of €30mn to €200mn, in industry or the service sector. These funds are made up of equity and/or loans, worth €3mn to €20mn, for four to eight years. The Novi 1 and Novi 2 funds have a budget of €580mn, contributed by 25 major investors, for a 21-year term. The management firms Tikehau IM for Novi 1 and Idinvest for Novi 2 analyse and implement funding at the request of companies.

Financing the growth of your mid-cap or SME

The Novo 1 and 2 investment funds finance the growth investment of industrial and service sector companies. These funds are made up of bond loans, of between €10mn and €50mn, of between five and seven years, with future repayment. The Novo 1 and Novo 2 funds have a budget of €1.015bn, contributed by 24 major investors, for a ten-year term. The management firms are BNPP IP for Novo 1 and Tikehau IM for Novo 2.

Bpifrance provides companies with a continuum of funding at each key stage of their development and services tailored to specific regional features. It funds companies on a loan and security basis, in partnership with banks, and on an equity basis. Bpifrance also supports their export operations and innovation projects.

Financing your innovation projects

Bpifrance supports your innovative personal and group projects in the form of R&D assistance, recoverable advances or interest-free loans, and then via funding for industrial or commercial launches or in the form of acquisitions.

Financing your export projects

In partnership with Business France and Coface, Bpifrance helps you with prospecting, funds your development, secures your project and helps you to successfully invest abroad.

Opening the capital of your company

Bpifrance manages investment funds that invest through equity or quasi-equity in French SMEs and mid-caps, on a minority basis unless a special agreement is reached. Beyond its direct investment line of business, Bpifrance also acquires stakes in investment capital funds and firms, which themselves invest in companies.
