With the House of Start-Ups, the 1st incubator dedicated to real-estate innovation, Icade gives micro-business from the sector the chance to be welcomed in order to test their concepts and develop their products and services, which Icade will then be able to integrate into its offers. The real-estate subsidiary of Caisse des Dépôts is therefore expressing its wish to be involved in the projects for the future, according to a concrete experimentation and operational approach.

Icade has worked with teams from Bpifrance to identify (sourcing) start-ups.

It is the very first concrete implementation of the innovation [Icade]+10 approach, launched in March 2015 and based on three pillars:

  • the House of Start-ups,
  • the Hub Icade, an initiative bringing together employees on considerations linked to the Icade businesses (housing, offices, urban areas, health, enterprise),
  • the continuation of industrial and technological partnerships.

An approach which, on the eve of COP21, is fully a part of Caisse des Dépôts’ priorities in terms of ecological, energy and digital transitions, noted Pierre-René Lemas, the Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des Dépôts during the inauguration. This was in the presence of André Martinez, the Chairman of the Executive Board of Icade, Olivier Wigniolle, the Managing Director of Icade, Jean-Louis Missika, the Deputy Mayor of Paris in charge of urban planning, Patrick Braouzec, the President of Plaine Commune and Bally Bagayoko, the Deputy Mayor of Saint Denis.

Parc Icade Les Portes de Paris
Located between Aubervilliers and Saint-Denis, Parc Icade Les Portes de Paris stretches over dozens of hectares. It is at the heart of one of the 7 clusters of Greater Paris, here the Pleyel cluster, a creative cluster already bringing together numerous fashion, cinema, music and television companies.
