Education & training

Each year, Iform receives over 1,200 young people on work-linked training courses. The training provided is mainly in the form of apprenticeships, and covers the food professions, mechanics, the sale of food products, and services.

The project to renovate and modernise the establishment has a total cost of almost €11mn, and benefited from an investment grant of more than €1mn from the Formation Professionnelle en Alternance (Work-linked Vocational Training) action of the Programme of   Investments for the Future ( PIA ), €435,000 for training, and €570,000 for modernising accommodation.

It includes three phases:

  • building a 256-bed student residence to offer additional accommodation facilities to students undergoing training or at the start of their working life, as well as to seasonal users who can benefit from the facilities outside academic periods
  • creating a new area for educational and sporting events
  • renovating the former student residence and transforming it into educational areas.
