Today more than ever, dialogue between companies and investors is a lever for the creation of value. It is essential that strategies converge around a common agenda, whether for the climate, the environment or for social aspects

highlighted Anne-Catherine Husson-Traore, Director General of Novethic.

Patrick Pouyanné, Total CEO, recalled that energy transition is not a threat but

a window of opportunities that contributes towards the evolution of energy markets. We must make immense efforts as regards energy efficiency as, in 2040, we must consume as much as we consume today with 3 billion extra people.

Karim Hajjae, Director General in charge of finance at Solvay has called for financial directors and investors to be more active on the topics of sustainable finance:

In 5 years, we have only received two letters from investors asking us ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) questions. It’s ludicrous! We want hundreds of letters!

G Schnepp lors du Positive Investors Forum de Novethic
Companies must start their ecological transition which is the key for their future successes, adds Gilles Schnepp, Chairman of Legrand, who closed the Forum in his capacity as Chair of the MEDEF’s Commission transition écologique et économique:

Investors and companies must engage in a dialogue in order to understand each other. The demands of the former must be made in consideration of the constraints experienced by the latter.

Facilitating this dialogue is in fact the aim of the Positive Investors Forum, the second edition of which will take place early July 2019!
