The pension and solidarity management oversees funds in the areas of pensions, professional transitions and solidarity. Among these, pension schemes cover 7.5 million working people and 3.7 million pensioners – that's one in five pensioners in France.

Three areas of activity:

  • Pensions

Four main pension schemes for statutory or contractual staff in the three civil service branches and for government blue-collar workers (CNRACL, Ircantec, RAFP, FSPOEIE), Retraite des Mines (mining pensions), Banque de France staff pensions, the Solidarity allowance for elderly people, categorical and supplementary pension schemes, etc.

  • Professional transitions

The individual occupational account (CPA) and individual training account (CPF)

  • Solidarity and other funds

The Fund for the integration of disabled people in the civil service, compensation or prevention funds, domestic funds and public institutions, etc.

A unique model in the French social protection and multi-fund operator landscape

The pension and solidarity management makes its expertise available to its constituents and the public authorities. It manages all types of scheme – from basic to complementary or supplementary, in instalments or points based.

It is proficient across the spectrum of management, customer relations and governance procedures, while respecting the identity of funds.

Caisse des Dépôts relies on industrialised, pooled processes as well as management procedures which have been extensively digitised. It is renowned for being able to deliver on major projects – particularly as regards their "information system" – and has proven expertise in digital customer relations and on-line services. It also operates a range of services for the working population and pensioners of the 35 French pension schemes for Union Retraite.
