The NQT association, born in 2006 from the success of the pilot project, launched in 2005 with 200 young people, has a concrete objective: contributing to the effectiveness of upward social mobility and equal opportunities in France.

How? By encouraging employment access for young graduates coming from disadvantaged areas via a sponsorship system which allows them to be supported by supervisors and business managers. In 10 years, the association has supported over 26,500 young people in 13 mainland regions and 4 French overseas départements, over 71% of whom have found a job in line with their qualifications. It intends to continue this growth by supporting 100,000 young people over the next 10 years.

The association wanted to put the question of upward social mobility back at the heart of the public debate and share the expertise accumulated after 10 years of supporting young graduates, by offering concrete solutions in its White Paper.

Committed since February 2011 to the corporate sponsorship measure with NQT, the Caisse des Dépôts group has nearly 200 sponsors. On 22 October, Michel Mazure, a Senior Manager at Caisse des Dépôts, was awarded the Trophée du Parrain (sponsor award) 2015. The White Paper profiles this exceptional sponsor.
