Territorial development officer

The main tasks of a territorial development manager consist, in his local area, of identifying development potential, promoting what Caisse des Dépôts has to offer, participating in the commercial action plan, coordinating and monitoring files and representing Caisse des Dépôts before regional authorities.

"Investor" territorial development managers negotiate and provide financial engineering for investment projects, evaluating risks and profitability (for example with regard to urban regeneration projects, real estate investment, investment in digital technology or the social economy).

"Banking" territorial development managers represent Caisse des Dépôts to public treasury partners, the legal professions and general interest institutional bodies. They manage the treasury network with a view to developing commercial offers to legal and institutional clientele.

"Lender"territorial development managers provide for the development of Caisse des Dépôts' offers of loans to social housing bodies, local authorities, associations and semi-public companies setting up financing operations.

Their sense of customer relations, ease in their rapports with others and capacity to adapt allow them to be autonomous and to take on responsibilities. They have developed a real aptitude for team work and project work, so that they can rigorously manage local files. Finally, their interest in the territorial political and socio-economic context and public/private interactions allows them to succeed in developing Caisse des Dépôts' general interest missions.
