On 21 February, the foundation stone of EcoZonia, the future animal park dedicated to the conservation of predators, was laid at Cases de Pène in the Pyrénées-Orientales département. This €9mn project is being led by Ecoparc investment company, 75% owned by SAS EcoZonia and 25% by Banque des Territoires.
During a visit in Normandy on 6 and 7 February, Eric Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des Dépôts, reaffirmed the support of Caisse des Dépôts for this region. This support materialized in the signing of agreements for a more sustainable and inclusive region.
On 6 February, Banque des Territoires and Acqua Publica signed a €4.28mn 60-year Aqua loan that will enable the water authority to carry out major operations such as the renewal of the Bastia tunnel pipeline or the Hauts de Toga drinking water supply.
On 29 January, Banque des Territoires granted a €5.8mn loan to SAS Immobilière Charente to enable Angoulême to buy 16 real estate assets in the city centre. This is the Banque des Territoires' 1,000th commitment to the national Action Cœur de ville programme.
Two major signings in favour of the energy and ecological transition (TEE) in Pays de la Loire on 17 January: on the one hand, for the creation of the local semi-public company (SEML) Mauges Energies, and on the other hand, the Cordemais power station and the Loire Estuary Pact for the ecological and industrial transition.

Two semi-public companies (French acronym: SEM) dedicated to renewable energy were created in September in the New Aquitaine Region with Caisse des Dépôts: SEM Gironde Energies and SEM ENRèze. And on 27 September in the Creuse département, Caisse des Dépôts participated in the inauguration of the first local data centre at national level.
Acting in favour of the development of the territory: this is the purpose of the two agreements signed on 5 and 6 September by Éric Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des Dépôts, to revitalise the city centre in La Roche-sur-Yon, on the one hand, and the development of Nantes Saint-Nazaire Port, on the other hand.
