Caisse des Dépôts is committed to all territories. Present at the 2019 Mayors and Local Authorities Fair from 19 to 21 November, it presented its new offers for more sustainable and inclusive regions, initiated new partnerships and signed many agreements.
Discovering the urban renewal projects supported by Banque des Territoires en région on the ground: this was the purpose of Eric Lombard, Caisse des Dépôts' Chief Executive Officer,' visit to Occitania on 4 and 5 July.
The Caisse des Dépôts new digital platform for the territories, http://www.caissedesdepotsdesterritoires.fr/ will be on line on 2 February. A new interface intended for the elected representatives and for the agents of local authorities, it will support them at any step of their development projects by facilitating access to the full range of the Caisse des Dépôts group skills.
More than 1,500 participants met at Cité de la mode et du design (Paris 13th district) on 21 November, where Caisse des Dépôts organized its very first Group Smart City Forum. The purpose: showcasing all the solutions of the Group in favour of a public interest smart city.
With its experience and a range of unique expertise, the Caisse des Dépôts Group is first in line to support the achievement of Greater Paris beside the public authorities and communities. To present and value this project of an outstanding scale, a promotional video that showcases the economic attractiveness of our territory was produced by the State (Prefecture of Ile-de-France, Société du Grand Paris and Métropole du Grand Paris).
On 21 December, Ségolène Royal, the Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy, laid the foundation stone of the future Nord Deux-Sèvres hospital to open in 2018. On a global investment of €90.128mn, the project is €27,2mn financed by a loan on savings funds from Caisse des Dépôts.
On 14 December, a partnership agreement describing the common areas of work for the development of the territory of Métropole européenne de Lille was signed by Damien Castelain, the Chairman of Métropole européenne de Lille (MEL), and Marc Abadie, the Caisse des Dépôts Director of the Network and Local Development.
On 14 December, Benoît Arrivé, the Chairman of Communauté urbaine de Cherbourg, and Isabelle Saffrey, the Caisse des Dépôts Basse-Normandie Regional Manager, signed a multiannual agreement about the financing of the projects of Cherbourg urban area for more than €26mn on savings funds.
