While travelling in French Guiana and the West Indies in mid-October, Eric Lombard, Chief Executive Officer of Caisse des Dépôts, reasserted the Group's support for these territories. A support achieved by the signing of new agreements in favour of development and the fight against social inequalities and territorial divide.
Two semi-public companies (French acronym: SEM) dedicated to renewable energy were created in September in the New Aquitaine Region with Caisse des Dépôts: SEM Gironde Energies and SEM ENRèze. And on 27 September in the Creuse département, Caisse des Dépôts participated in the inauguration of the first local data centre at national level.

During her trip to the West Indies at the end of March, Gisèle Rossat-Mignod, Director of the Banque des Territoires network, signed agreements with several local authorities to promote the sustainable development of the territories concerned in Morne-à-l'Eau, Abymes and Grand-Bourg (Guadeloupe).
