Young entrepreneurs, enter the Talents des cités Contest!

The Talents des cités contest has been identifying and rewarding entrepreneurs in the urban priority neighbourhoods since 2002. At the initiative of the Ministry of Territorial Cohesion and Agence France Entrepreneur, it is co-organised by BGE with the support of Caisse des Dépôts*.

Entrepreneurial desires are also alive in priority urban areas. Youths just starting out or those with more experience, every year more and more share this ambition and start on an entrepreneurial adventure. The Talents des cités Contest is: 570 entrepreneurs rewarded in 16 years, 355 active companies and 2,650 jobs.

Organised across France, Talents des Cités is open to entrepreneurs or founders of associations and to project leaders established in priority urban-policy neighbourhoods. To participate, candidates must first have their project validated or be followed by a business creation assistance organisation.

In October, regional juries will select 2 winners per region for the categories of Creation (creators of businesses and associations created less than 3 years ago) and Emergence (project or idea leaders wishing to create a business). The national jury will select the national winners in December.

* It also benefits from the support of the General Commission for Territorial Equality, Epareca, France Télévisions, Radio France, Club du XXIe siècle and the previous contest winners.
