Bpifrance: Soon a New Green Bond under a New Framework

Bpifrance has updated its Green Financing Framework, initially launched in 2021, and is preparing to issue a European Green Bond (EU Green Bond). This bond will align with the highest market standards and the EU Green Taxonomy.

With this initiative, Bpifrance becomes the first French bank to adopt such a framework and the third French issuer to enter this market. The inaugural bond issuance under the updated Green Financing Framework is expected to take place from March 2026.
