The Sfil Group has successfully launched a new green bond issue in Swiss francs (CHF), structured as secured Caffil bonds, for CHF100 mn (approximately €108mn as of today). The bonds have a 12-year maturity and a 1.29% interest rate. The proceeds will finance green investments by French local authorities and major French export contracts with environmental benefits.

The Green Bond was placed with 22 investors, primarily asset managers (67%), insurers (24%), and banks (9%).

The funds raised will support green investments in areas such as:

  • Regional mobility and green urban transport;
  • Renewable energies;
  • Energy efficiency in construction and urban development;
  • Sustainable water and sanitation management;
  • Waste management and valorization.

This transaction aligns with Sfil Group’s goal to allocate 33% of its annual financing volumes under ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria between 2024 and 2030.
