What is CDC Investissement Immobilier’s strategy?
Arnaud Taverne, Chief Executive Officer
Our strategy
Our investment strategy, regularly updated to take into account market evolutions, is based on :
- Speculative office (re)developments in prime location, with a build-to-core approach to create short/medium-term value and to improve long-term returns
- Geographical diversification in the main European markets through JVs with local operating partners
- New residential to rent projects with a view on long-term returns
- Diversification in alternative sectors
Every year, the company performs between €500mn and €1 bn of new investments (5 to 10 deals) but also some sales of non-strategic assets or in order to generate capital gains.
The integration of the company into the CDC Group’s asset management platform enables to capitalize in our strategy with the inputs from the fixed-income, shares and private equity markets expert teams.
