On 20 March, Compagnie des Alpes announced the acquisition of 100% of the shares in Familypark, Austria's leading leisure park, for an enterprise value of €72.5mn. It is a high-quality regional park, with infrastructures and facilities that match the requirements of Compagnie des Alpes.
This acquisition is perfectly in line with the strategy that the group has adopted in its parks for several years now. It will improve the geographical coverage of a very consistent park portfolio.

Located in the tourist region of the Neusiedl lake, less than one hour of the centre of Vienna, Familypark is easily accessible from Hungary and Slovakia. In 2018, Familypark achieved a revenue of €19.1mn and welcomed 716,000 visitors.
