Real estate: sale of its new headquarters to CNP Assurances and acquisition of the current ones

CNP Assurances CDC Investissement Immobilier Immobilier et logement

Altarea Cogedim Entreprise and CDC Investissement Immobilier* completed the sale of the 3 office buildings in the Issy-Cœur de Ville eco-neighbourhood to CNP Assurances in a state of future completion. The insurer will set up its future headquarters there by 2022. The two partners also completed the acquisition of CNP Assurances' current headquarters in Montparnasse (Paris 15e).

These various transactions give a clear illustration of the build to core1 strategy that we have been rolling out these past few years on Caisse des Dépôts' behalf. The acquisition as-is of the current headquarters of CNP Assurances in Paris' Montparnasse district, in view of its complete refurbishment according to the latest environmental and technical standards, demonstrates our risk-taking capacity in prime locations where public transport services are optimum.

CNP Assurances chooses Issy Cœur de Ville for its future headquarters…

In 2022 CNP Assurances will move from its offices in Paris' 15th arrondissement to a new town centre in Issy-les-Moulineaux. The site will comprise offices, shops, housing, public facilities and gardens, as well as a school complex and children's nursery. It will meet the highest environmental standards.

… and its current head office will be redeveloped

All of the offices located at the end of Rue de Rennes above Montparnasse railway station will be entirely repurposed following CNP Assurances' move to Issy-Cœur de Ville. The project benefits from the exceptional setting and visibility of the neighbourhood around Montparnasse station, which is undergoing unprecedented change. Delivery is scheduled for the end of 2026.
