CDC Investissement Immobilier acquires a logistics asset in the Netherlands
Paris, 16th September 2026 - CDC Investissement Immobilier continues to diversify its portfolio with the acquisition of a new logistics asset on behalf of the French Caisse des Depots. Located in Bleiswijk near Rotterdam, in the heart of the Randstad, this fully leased Grade A asset represents CDC Investissement Immobilier’s first logistics investment in the Netherlands. Horrea IM advised CDC Investissement Immobilier on this investment and will be in charge of the asset management.
The property is located on Urban Logistics Campus A12, a redevelopment of the Greenery, a former flower auction estate led by Dutch developers Next Level Development and Wijnen Bouwgroep, from whom the asset was acquired. Directly connected to the A12 motorway, the site lies within 20 minutes of Rotterdam and offers efficient access to The Hague, Amsterdam and Utrecht, in an established submarket that has attracted a concentration of food and retail logistics occupiers.
Delivered in 2022, the asset comprises c. 37,300 sqm of warehouse, office and mezzanine space across two units benefitting from modern specifications and a flexible design, built to high technical and environmental standards, including a BREEAM Excellent certification and a c. 4,6 MWp rooftop PV system.
The asset is fully let on long-term leases to two established occupiers: HB RTS, a leading provider of returnable transport items, and D-Logistiek, the logistics arm of top-five Dutch supermarket chain Dirk. Both occupiers use the property as a strategic node in their Dutch distribution networks, consolidating their growing presence in the Bleiswijk area.
The Netherlands continues to offer attractive logistics fundamentals. This acquisition is consistent with our long-term diversification strategy, which includes the development of a core logistics portfolio focused on high-quality locations across major European markets
